Chaos UK - London band

About the band

Originally formed in Islington, London around 1978 with Andy (Speed) Snell on vocals, Dave (Snotty) Veal on guitar/vocals, Tony Snook on bass, and Steve Veal on drums.
The band played many gigs around London, and released a single 'Summer Of Hate/I Wanna Be Left Alone' in 1979. The band gradually metamorphosed into 'The Mandies' and eventually the infamous trash/glam/punk band Marionette with Kerrnang's Ray Zell on vocals. Marionette released a cult classic and now hard to find album called 'Blonde Secrets & Dark Bombshells'. In 2014 Bin Liner Records released the two songs Chaos UK recorded for their only single on their 'Bored Teenagers Volume 7' compilation. A gig was organised to promote the release of the album and Chaos UK were asked to play at the show. The only problem was that guitarist Dave Veal was the only member of the old band who could be traced. Therefore, Dave put a new lineup of the band together to play the show and help promote the album. It seemed to be quite well received so further gigs with the new Chaos UK lineup look to be happening in 2015...
