Not even determined to create something 'authentic' by force, it just seemed to come about! Springing from all the members' seemingly disparate tastes. Artur, Michael and Aaron were soon to be wonderfully complimented by Lachlan, Ben and....even another Michael! Now we are united under a great and glorious groove. A lot of Unit 48's dreaminess and colour comes from how he squeezes his keyboard's capabilities like a hot lemon. Artur Bromfield - Drums and Percussion ..... He may have been all over the place, but his drumming isn't! This cat taps into a primitive, quasi-tribal power from the Dark Continent as he provides the drive and background thunder. Lachlan Fuller - Bass Guitar ..... The first fellow to join the original trio showed immediate promise as this chappy loves his dance music. This gentle giant is a groovy guy indeed, asbestos fingers are needed for this heat. Michael Lawrence - Guitar ..... Rock and Roll runs through his veins, but this emperor also wears platformers! So much excitement, soul and feeling oozes from his instrument.... (sorry)... wah-wah or no wah-wah he turns it OUT! Ben Wilson - Trumpet ..... A distinctly retro vibe is granted unto us by Ben's brassy bellows.
