Boy From The Crowd- Swamp rock sleaze punking duo with a touch of Nick Cave and some Hendrix via sassy glam punk and indie moves…Hands Of Kanelos– Think this lot may be German -via Satf London- anyway interesting stuff, veers between psychedelic post-rock and Krautrock especially Can, elements of Velvet Underground too but the more experimental John Cale-led stuff, quite hypnotic and compelling but well structured doesn’t meander or disappear up it’s ‘arriss….ace…Shupa– Surf guitar fuelled garage pop, as opposed to garage punk, does sound a bit like the Yardbirds in places but then there’s elements of early Beatles, also touches on Psych, all good, from Paris… Shock Horror– Horror Punk metal, there’s a probable Misfits influence here but also nods to early thrash metal, especially the searing lead guitar. Hailing from Leeds.
