An Alternative Gathering and Yur Mum bring you a day of live music, personally selecting some of our favourite bands for the occasion. This is also a celebration for Yur Mum who have made a name for themselves and many friends over the last year with their music, live shows and never say die attitude.

Yur Mum 23.20 - 00.00
An improbable band with an equally improbable name and formed by the unconformity with contemporary pop music exhaustion, East joined West to play a fusion between grunge, punk, hard rock, metal, blues and anything else that is loud, noisy and comes from the heart.
This female-fronted three-piece joined instruments for the first time on a cold night in London, 2015. After several beers and some bourbon, they went to an industrial warehouse in Acton called Survival Studios willing to make ‘awesome music’.

The Blue Carpet Band 22.30 - 23.05
Powerhouse five-piece garage punk rock'n'rollers based in North London. Like classic blues-rock proponents such as The Yardbirds and early Rolling Stones mixing it up with early New York punk, The Cramps and The Stooges, think big riffs, 12-bar boogie and unstoppable energy, on a mission to bring back good real music to London then the world.

The Bleach Boys 21.40 - 22.15
Formed in Hitchin in 1977 and originally called the Fur Coughs. The best way to describe the BLEACH BOYS is very loud and very fast. If you want to put a musical style on them, forget it, music really doesn't come into it. They really do play punk of a style which has gone out of fashion. Amazingly, they're still here!

DiabloFurs 20.50 - 21.25
Nottingham's Diablo Furs are the snotty, brattish grandchild of The New York Dolls and Richard Hell. Their fuzzy guitars, aggressive vocals and abrasive fuck you attitude are a breath of fresh air unpolluted by any computer aided trickery or artificially generated beats. Black Mirror Girls 1973 and Wytches sound like tight leather trousers, ripped t-shirts and a cigarette dangling nonchalantly from their lips.

Jellly 20.00 - 20.35
Passionate tunes, sinister undertones and a pop punk sensibility infused with a hint of the troubadour, playing Rock, New Wave, Prog Pop, Punk.
They have released their first album and produced a video for the opening track ‘Say Hello’ in collaboration with the Aardman stop motion animator Tine Kluth.

A female fronted garage punk band from London launched in 2015. The band is well known for their energetic live shows and has previously played ‘Camden Rocks Presents’. Their last single released via ‘BBC Introducing’ and their debut EP ‘Bones’ was released 22nd April 2017.
