Gig Description

It's time to get your dancing shoes on with June's edition of the Friday Funk Project, featuring:

Dutty Moonshine
He may be armed with a set of decks but this is no regular DJ.
Mike aka Dutty Moonshine was brought up in the circus as a child, mispent his youth in the warehouse rave scene and then went on to form his own 14 piece Jazz trained Big Band...who play dirty Garage bangers.
Mike sets are a reflection of his life. Intense, loud and a shit ton of fun.
Bass ridden genres mashed up and all tied together with the sounds of the 1930s, 50s and the Balkans.
You ever seen a DJ play a set that features Little Richard and Noisia in the same hour?
Dutty Moonshine has toured 4 continents and his big band has played nothing but main stages at Festivals and Clubs for the last 18 months

The Palumbo Phunk are a London-based funk collective. Boasting a line-up from around the world The Phunk have been regulars on the London scene. A high energy set incorporates "Sgt Pepper" and James Brown - esque horn lines, funky rhythm, big riffs and harmonies to create a colourful and uplifting atmosphere.
The live show takes the audience on an exciting and soulful journey through space and time.
