Rock N Roll Rescue Punk RocknRoll All Dayer… The Skinner Brothers– what with their groovy threads and sculpted rocknroll hair these boys have da look and da sounds…Dollsy rocknroll with a smidge of classic Brit indie rock, niceness. The London SS– is a name spoken in legends of the UK punk scene of the 1970s. Although the band never released any material (but there are rumours of tape, buried somewhere in the depths of Mick Jones’ old flat) they were arguably as bigger influence on the formation of the infant punk movement as the Sex Pistols. Former members of the London SS went on to form the Clash, The Damned, Generation X. Austin Gold- blusey heavy rock , pretty much the same components as Whitesnake, blues wailin vox, hammond etc, skillfully reworks Kashmir here, a Booker T number there and the recent career of Jo Bonnamassi in the space of one song. Has grooooooove…. Inhaler– Punked-up indie rock, bit like the more abrasive side of Nirvana, via old school punk, ferociously cool. Tara Rez- former Duel frontwoman Tara really knows how to make an impact, bags of punk energy with low slung rocknroll chops provided by her very fine band. Thinking person’s punk for sure. X Ray Spex/Vice Squad/Penetration…The Garage Flowers– Cocksure indie rock n roll…. stylistically it’s late 60’s Stones via a glammed up Libertines, loadsa swagger and tunes to boot, good stuff. Pink Cigar– Roustabout London rocknroll legends on early door so arrive early folks..glam punk rock via a garage lens… think a raw version of (early) Kings Of Leon hit up with Dolls/Stooges vitamins and a lickle spit of AC/DC …swaggersome and sexy.  Knox (The Vibrators)- Mr RockNRoll Rescue himself opens proceedings with his acoustic guitar and his ace collection of songs….so actually get in proper early kids, not to be missed. Harlots Of Beyond- Hey! How the Helsinki! Finnish punk alt post punking duo with a smorgasbord (sorry that’s wedish innit?) of releases and gigs behind them, and we’re chuffed to have them open the show today.  NB Dazed And Out, Californian female rock duo stop press addition. Relocated to London rocking a low slung Patti Smith meets Stevie Nicks ethereal narco pop…
