Barry Melton with The Green Ray + Brainiac 5

Star of the show will be Barry Melton, formerly of incredibly wonderful and influential San Francisco '60s psych band Country Joe & The Fish. He'll be playing with the Green Ray. First up will be a solo set from Dave Mackenzie, then the Brainiacs, then Barry Melton & The Green Ray. Should be a classic! This is Barry's only London appearance on this tour.

BARRY "THE FISH" MELTON is the co-founder and original lead guitarist of Country Joe and The Fish and The Dinosaurs. He appears on all the Country Joe and The Fish recordings and he also wrote some of the songs that the band recorded. He appeared in the films made at Monterey Pop and Woodstock.

London-based psychedelic rockers THE GREEN RAY were formed in the late 90s by Ken Whaley and Richard Treece from the much loved 70s band Help Yourself. Their new album Half Sentences will be released on Reckless Records at the end of September.

THE BRAINIAC 5 are an originally Cornwall-based psychedelic punk band, who came to prominence in 1978 with the 'Mushy Doubt' EP, a favourite of DJ John Peel, the Brainac 5 split in 1980. Reforming in 2012, they've released 2 full albums of new material and are due to release another in September.
