Gig Description

We're incredibly pleased to announce that our next gig will be headlined by the super-talented Carla J. Easton.

Carla is a singer-songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. She has released one album with all-girl band TeenCanteen and one album solo (as ‘Ette') to widespread critical acclaim and has played numerous festivals in the UK, Europe and North America. In early 2018 Carla will play select shows with her six-piece band to promote the release of the first single from her forthcoming second solo album which was produced by Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Leonard Cohen, Godspeed You! Black Emperor).

Support will be from the fabulous Hamish Hawk. Hamish is an Edinburgh-based songwriter and lyricist. Performing solo, and as frontman of The New Outfit, Hawk offers a strikingly confident live show as he shapeshifts from pop songster to lilting crooner; from masterful storyteller to wild-eyed lunatic and back again, all with an unmistakable charm, wit and sensitivity. With two releases under his belt (2014's Aznavour and 2016's Mull EP), Hawk's full-band debut, From Zero to One promises a pop tour-de-force, gleaming with all the grit and grandeur of Scottish life.

Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door.
