About the gig-

Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate and friends return to Camden's legendary Fiddler's Elbow for a charity fundraiser in aid of the World Land Trust. The aim is to raise money to protect rainforest, conserving vulnerable plants and animals, helping local communities, and minimising the damage from climate change.

Valentines Day event but not overtly romantic, this is an event that
screams love life, love the planet, and lets have some fun.

Confirmed performers include Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate, wild French grunge/punk rockers A Void, industrial rock from Global Noise Attack, Robbie Zereka and Aleksandra Wosniak / Olandra.

Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate will be performing music from their new album Broken But Still Standing, plus some classic rock/prog covers.

Free entry, with a suggested £5 charity donation. All performers/organisers donating their services without charge.

Live music from 7:30 to 10:45pm.

Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate is multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter Malcolm, with one or more of:- Flautist Kathryn Thomas (flautist of the award winning Galliard Ensemble and classical chamber musician and soloist including Proms and concerto soloist).
As a classical musician Kathryn records for Deux-Elles Classical Recordings ( Both Malcolm and Kathryn have independently been broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Bass player Mark Gatland. Mark is an experienced and versatile bassist. Malcolm and Mark have been playing together since school. Charismatic and talented drummer Rudy Roo (also drummer of the Fiddler's Elbow House Band, Diamond Faith, and Iraq). They are also joined by regular guest guitarist, virtuosic, pyrotechnical guitar speed demon Ibon Ibon, and guest guitarist and vocalist Sam Brown. Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate play music ranging from hauting acoustic melancholia and rock originals, to flute-led covers of Hendrix and Guns and Roses, Pink Floyd, Queen, blues, and occasionally T'Pau and Brahms. Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate regularly play at the Fiddler's Elbow and have performed at other leading London music venues, including Nambucca, Water Rats, Camden Rock, The Vibe Bar, The Comedy, and The Bowery. They have also played at festivals, and street parties. Hats Off Gentlemen It's Adequate regularly put on charity gigs, and have recently put on fundraising events for Save The Children, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Ehlers-Danlos Support UK, and Brain Tumour UK. Their debut single 'Wait For The Storm' (in aid of Save The Children and Ehlers-Danlos Support UK) has been critically acclaimed. They are currently working towards their debut album.
