HIGH OR DIE presents GREEN LUNG EP LAUNCH with Trevor's Head and Morag Tong

Green Lung hail from South London, playing a melodic strain of occult-obsessed doom rock. Their debut single ‘Green Man Rising’ was a slab of instantly memorable heavy psych, which saw them hailed by Ripple Music and identified as ‘ones to watch’ by The Obelisk, and ensured shows with UK heavy titans Desert Storm and Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard.

Fresh from recording their debut EP 'Free the Witch' with Wayne Adams at Bear Bites Horse Studios (Vodun, Ghold, Riddles), to be released February 19th via Deckhead Records, here's a chance to see one of London's most promising heavy bands before everyone else.

Trevor's Head

Trevor’s Head present chunky stoner riffage from the deepest darkest recesses of Redhill, Surrey, pairing punk aggression with warm fuzz. Catch them before their Desertfest performance in May!

Morag Tong

Fresh from playing The Local Fuzz Vol. 3, this Surrey four piece combine sledgehammer doom with ambient psychedelia, their earth-shaking yet smooth tones swinging seamlessly from pounding intensity to serene clarity.

Friday 16th February
Doors 7.30pm
£5 entry, £3 concessions

Trevor's Head punk // rock -

Trevor’s Head is a thick, greasy fondue of stoner rock, punk & grunge from a landfill town in the commuter belt called Redhill.
They released their second LP, ‘Tricolossus’, in February 2016 and have pursued a relentless gigging schedule for the last 4 years. With a constant presence in Southern England and a European tour under their belts, they are now coming for the rest of the UK and beyond.

"Trevor's Head show the fine people of Redhill have a lot to be grateful for with their melodic heavy blues." - Terrorizer Magazine

"A true sucker punch, full of grit with a tight raw sound and crazy good guitar work. And the record [Tricolossus] is so highly diverse that you never tire of it." - Joop Konraad, Stoner HiVe

"Will leave you with no doubt there's something special about these guys." - Steve Howe, Outlaws Of The Sun

"With Tricolossus, Trevor's Head has produced a rollocking album of unpretentious metallic stoner riffing. It shakes you by the scruff of the neck before giving you a swift kick up the arse... but, goddam it, that smile is still there." - Steve Woodier, The Shrieks From Below

"A stormer of a record... Well worth parting with a mere fiver, that barely gets you a pint these days but it will get you a corker of an album!" - Aymer Nelson, Stencil Mag

"Gets better with every listen." - Owen Tillett, Rock Fanatic Rockcast
