Blackballed / Lilith and the Knight + More at New Cross Inn promotional image

New Cross Inn are delighted to bring you an evening of some top rocking acts. Doors 7pm
£5 ADV / £7 OTD Blackballed
A well turned out full tilt oiled engine with a ton of groove rock power. BLACKBALLED was formed in the summer of 2012 by brothers marshall and leon gill. after working together on songs and ideas they were soon joined by tom wibberley on bass to complete the line up.
“Picture this … at the crossroads three hot rods, windows down blaring out just above the roaring engines you hear hard hitting rock, down dirty blues and psychedelic soulfulness. The lights flash green, the cars tear away and crush into one huge melting pot. That my friends, that is the sound of BLACKBALLED …” Lilith and the Knight
In the ever-evolving landscape of music, Lilith and the Knight are one of the most visually captivating bands on the scene. Backed by a technically superb trio blazing a trail through the landscape, Lilith’s soaring vocals and undeniable pop hooks come with a single minded purpose: to push metal into the next generation of its evolution.
Mayhem Music Magazine: “Few bands seethe with the hunger to take on the greats. Even fewer have the songs to back it up, but Lilith and the Knight do.” Finding Kate
Alt-rock guitars, hard-hitting drums, heavy bass and soaring vocals in a mix of rock/emo choruses.
“Kate Pavli’s greatest asset is undoubtedly vocal power. Whether this can be put down to her childhood background in musical theatre, her Greco-Australian flare, or something entirely different, the fact is, very few leave a ‘Finding Kate’ show uncertain of this.” Yur Mum
We’re a DIY hard rock/grunge band from London. Our music is a blend of anything that’s loud, noisy and comes from the heart. We call it ‘road rage’ rock.
“A band whose name makes everyone smile every time it’s said: Yur Mum. Singer Anelise’s bluesy vocals interspersed with heart-stopping punk screams lift Akos’ more trad metal guitar: think a pissed-off Suzi Quattro fronting Guns ‘n’ Roses.” Elsa
London based Singer songwriter guitarist on the rock edge. Heartfelt songs from a place of emotional honesty. influenced by American rock (grunge/metal), classical and folk music. Has the voice of an angel.
