Gig Description

Zen – Riffs of a Fall-ish hue..I hear the Folk Devils too, some snotty Yanker punk touches, a bit of Cabbage and other ne’er do well twisted punky types – ‘We are a 4 piece experimental Indie band formed out of the ashes of an excess driven society, playing everything from danceable indie ballads to heavier punk and blues inspired rock songs, with plenty of audience participation and big stage performances to ensure everyone has a good time’…good lads…full of urgency and angst and sexy with it. Better Than Mending – Bristolian post hardcore band with some fabulously wayward guitar led charges into experimental rock territory and impassioned vocalese. Fans of Enter Shakiri might be up for this. eware The Bear – Grunge pop again but although does sound a tad like Foo Fighters, big hooks, decent use of light n shade it has the cock-sure swagger of Oasis, good work. Slip Digby-Pacey blues infused Grunge rock with soulful vocals on a rockin’ Fu Manchu tip rather than yer Pearl Jams, neat. For The Hornets-Punk n roll with a fair bit of old school punk in the mix, there’s a bit of a Ramones-like sing-along aspect to the tunes but with a gritty,  abrasive sound that reminds of Nirvana too, but less intense more pop. The Multitude – The Multitude blend a lyrically-driven mix of prog-rock and melodic metal, with hints of neo-classical elements layered onto progressive rock soundscapes. Portentious and dynamic doomo rocknroll.
