COOKIE TONGUE

A musical project bore by Omer Gal in 2011, Cookie Tongue, a phantasmical folkloric band based in New York exists in different formations from solo, duo to full 5-piece band. The lyrics come from Omer’s unsettled soul in full gloom.

SUSAN

Chester Kirkin’s otherness is susan, exploring their genderfluid selves, the music layering becomes a living in hope, Trans-dystopian electronica. They playfully cheeky yet humbly sweet, as they approach the audiences to gather closer, huddle up as we are invited into their private world. Welcoming us into a beautifully cacophony sound art journey, we are drawn into their hauntingly poetic layering of who we long to become inside the kaleidoscopic dissonant noises and abstract vocal melodies, atmospherically reverbing against our own fleshy capsules. Sinister loops encapsulating the poetic fearful decent one may have as they peer out of the closet, into the wide world of possibilities during self-discovery assembling an identity. Then susan smiles and it’s all ok, we choose.

Doc Snipp

Elvis Choinatown (AKA Buck Juicer; AKA Meat Wellington; AKA Cannonball Corpse; AKA Gordon Slicer): vocs/guits

Bean (AKA Saleem Dijon): drums/vocs/magic of friendship

Mothball Ninja: Bass/Smiles

Sexily shambolic and sordid garage/punk 3 piece with exotic rockabilly vibes

Kitty O’Neal Kitty O’Neal is a singer-songwriter from the U.K. In 2017, Kitty released two EPs, 'A Home' and 'OK', both receiving radio play on BBC Introducing and attracting venues in the South of England where she has supported household folk names Maz O'Connor and Meadowlark and more recently opening for rock band Band of Skulls. Mixing her folk influences heard in 'A Home' with a love of RnB and electronic sound in 'OK', she is releasing an album in 2018 ahead of her UK summer tour which promises to encapsulate both of these moods in a unique and ever-evolving sound. Kitty's poignant songwriting, paired with a distinct emotive performance, alongside her band makes for a captivating and vibrant live experience, filled with both soulful melancholy and groove.

"'Make It Yours' is everything we've come to expect from Kitty O'Neal. Her ear for an irresistible pop hook allows her to build something joyful, hopeful and undeniably catchy. It's a sign of a great songwriter when we find ourselves clicking play for the fifth time in a row." - Folkroom Records

“Shades of Nick Drake on the guitar and Joni Mitchell on the vocals” - Daily Echo

"Around the autobiographical grit of life she builds melodic pearls. Her silvery vocals twist their way into your subconscious so that you find her words and tunes continue to haunt you.”
------------------------------
Giving In To You is a collection of songs written during a period of restlessness, where every time I tried to take a step forward I was pulled back into a whirlwind of retreat, indecisiveness and self-doubt. My second single Without A Sound is a track written to this feeling of retreat, while my first single Make It Yours is about conquering it. The tracks on this album carry individual stories of first-hand experiences and realisations, as well as the imaginings and daydreams that surfaced from a time of instability, questioning and self-discovery. The title Giving In To You is taken from the final track For My First Love - a track written for and about music.
