Gig Description

00000000 –art rock cum post punk with forceful artful  vocals and a wayward twisty turny experimental feel. Interesting…a bit Kristin Hersch maybe, or a more leftfield Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Remind me of Ut actually…and Jefferson Airplane meets Siouxsie allowing the acid free reign. See also Bowie at his Berliner darkest, King Crimson, Peter Hamill. Legal Freaks- Dave Roca formerly of Underrunners fronts this awesome, high energy  punknroll type band….Dead Boys, Lords Of The New Church, Dolls, Damned. The Turn post-punk infused indie rock a-la Magazine with an occasional rhythmic and rocking blast of something a bit rawer, early Clash, The Jam and Wire maybe. Vertical Noise– Cardiacs taken to punkish extremes which works well.. pretty intense with build ups as you’d imagine and wahcky bits then heavy bits then Devo/Fall quirky riffs. Strong.  Charmides- Indie pop, upbeat and melodic, harks back to classic old school The L.A’s but there’s more recent influences too, Artic Monkeys maybe.
