Montpellier + Hani + Masdo + Edgar Duke

Montpellier- Psychedelic emotive indie rock, nods to early verve later stone roses as well as the likes of Mansun and Coldplay, highly  accomplished playing and they’ve decent tunes to boot. Hani- Retrorock that references the narco-swagger 0f The Stones, just after B Jones snuffed it, but filters it through brit-pop era indie, spesh Oasis but also the Manic Street Preachers and Suede, great stuff. Masdo- 60’s influenced indie pop From Kuala Lumpa Malaysia,  with some great twangy Hank Marvin-esque guitar it’s like an indie Shadows via Last Of The Shadow puppets, with beatles harmonies, upbeat toe tappin’ stuff. Neat Edgar Duke- Psychedelic rock heavy and hypnotic in places but in no way shoegazy, catchy and uplifting, despite the heavyosity
