Gig Description

Des Was a Bowie Fan: Bowie & The Ghosts of Halloween Discotheque at The Fiddler's Elbow promotional image

Join us at the club round the Fiddler's Elbow - Camden on Halloween Friday for a moonlit dancefloor zombie waltz through the most extravagant Bowie hits and Halloween classics from the realms of rock'n'roll, 60s Pop and new wave, with a slithering of surf and a wounded chest of Transylvanian novelty treasure; Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane and the Thin White Duke driving the musical hearse through the night with Bobby Picket and the Crypt-Kickers and the All Hallows Eve legends in the coffin.

The creaking dancefloor of the Fiddler's will resemble life on Mars.

There will also be a pre-club show from DWaBF favourites Astro Children, bringing a cuttingly haunting and beautiful shoegazing Pop sound from Dunedin, New Zealand. The band recently released their 'Beneath the Visible Surface' single via their bandcamp.
