£8 ADV / £10 OTD Blitzkrieg Blitzkrieg was formed in Leicester in October 1980. Their first demo, made in November that year, secured them their first recording deal with Neat Records resulting in the famous Blitzkrieg/Buried Alive single & a track on the Lead Weight compilation album. The band gigged extensively in England but split in 1981, only to reform in 1984 to release the album “A Time of Changes”. https://www.facebook.com/BlitzkriegUK

The Deep may be a comparatively new name to the metal and rock scene, but the genesis of the band goes way back to the early eighties. In fact the band and its members have connections to various NWOBHM and rock outfits from that time.
Our debut album Premonition is in no way a copy or hollow echo of days gone by. All but one of the songs on the album were written and performed by us during the early to mid 1980s. https://www.facebook.com/TheDeepUK

The original album was well received and good reviews followed, but the band had broken up within that first year after just a handful of gigs and any opportunities for touring and promoting were lost at almost the first hurdle. https://www.facebook.com/Blackmayne-172478989439319
