Strange Place presents Shake Shake Go + guests at The Victoria promotional image

Shake Shake Go is made up of Welsh writer and lead singer Poppy Jones, French composer and guitarist Marc Le Goff, Virgile Rozand (guitar) and Kilian Saubusse (drums). They first made their mark in 2015 with their pop/folk ballad single “England Skies” which was certified diamond status around the world.   While attending Music college in London, Marc Le Goff, a talented guitarist and song-writer teamed up with the breath-taking lyrics and voice of Poppy Jones. Kilian Saubusse and Virgile Rozand joined the band soon after, and Shake Shake Go was born.   Setting out with a busking tour up and down the UK, soon enough they found themselves touring the UK & Europe playing their collection of indie-pop anthems across the continent supporting the likes of James Blunt, Rodrigo y Gabriela, King Charles, Dan Croll & Talisco. With their high energy drum lead performances, Shake Shake Go made sure they became ones to watch.   The release of their self-titled first EP “England Skies” marked a turning point in their fledgling career with a pan-European release, millions of streams, and impressive chart results in 30 countries. Following on from the success of the EP the band entered the studio to record their debut album “All In Time”, released in January 2016 to critical acclaim. In the words of the press, Shake Shake Go are “…the new sensation” (Madame Figaro), “…a huge blow to the heart” (The Parisianer), and “…blessed with a rare knack for melody” (Clash Magazine). After selling out the Cigale in Paris, a 60 date tour followed, ending in Tahiti, before the band got back to work writing their second album.   Two years after the release of “All In Time” Shake Shake Go return with their new single “Dinosaur”; a catchy and energetic rock/pop anthem with a little nostalgia mixed in. Time moves quickly, and “Dinosaur” takes us back to a time when we celebrated, shouted, laughed, danced and jumped for joy, with the voice of Poppy Jones leading the way.   The release of their second album ‘Homesick’ produced by Marc Le Goff was released on September the 14th 2018 England Skies – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSCsCmmbO9Y Dinosaur – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vV7DrNCoRro Advance tickets on sale at https://link.dice.fm/shake-shake-go-the-victoria
