Currls :
A three-piece band based in Brighton, UK. Holly (Guitar/Lead Vocal) , Lawrie (Bass) and Maddy (Drums) make songs with a punch. Curls’ style is an infusion of glam rock, post punk and new wave influences, plentiful with thick bass lines and thriving drums to keep you moving. A sweet twist on garage rock with statement hooks to remember and raspy soul vocals.

HAWXX are Anna, Hannah, Jess and Iman. We’re into things like funny voices, feminism, booze, Led Zeppelin, Royal Blood and Skunk Anansie. We originally hail from Greece, Wales, England and Bahrain and we found eachother in the trenches of Earlsfield, South London.

Hawxx make hard rock music about getting sacked from your job, the deterioration of the NHS, how love can be a mighty bitch, and giving the finger to institutionalised religion.

Expect phat grooves, catchy lyrics, soaring guitar riffs, intricate harmonies and walls of sound to break down barriers and bring people together.

Previously Post-Heather

"Brighton’s most exciting two-piece do it again with their atmospheric take on garage rock. The grit, energy and crunching guitar of the chorus seems at odds with the spacey, shimmering verses, but vocalist Heather handles both with ease, switching between her beautiful, soulful tone and a snarl in a split second." - Bristol Live Magazine.

'This duo are exponents of introspective lyrics and stark musicality.' God is in the TV Zine.

'Brighton’s Grunge-Shoegazing duo Post-Heather were a surprise hit at last year’s Alternative Escape, and this year they’re back for more! Their ability to mix a Riot Grrrl sensibility, introspective lyrics, and hypnotic drone-y guitars makes them greater than the sum of their parts. Rumour has it that they’ve spent the winter writing their debut album, and this set will be full of future classics.' - Drowned in Sound.
