Joe Steen + Dragon Rapide + Danny Starr

Joe Steen- accomampanied by members of his family. (His cousin Charlie is lead singer of punk band Shame, his brother Archie  plays honky tonk and New Orleans piano plus guitar/ bass. His sister Tallulah plays guitar and sings)  Dragon Rapide-Americana infused psych pop from France, there’s a bit of a Teenage Fanclub feel in places especially the harmonies and a possible C86 influence too. Interesting stuff goes off at tangents without losing the plot, plenty of hooks and decent choruses to hold the attention. great stuff. Danny Starr – heartfelt George Ezra / Ben Howard soul infused stuff waaaaay above the normal singer songwriter benchmark….steeped in classic and classy influences and thus the talent and taste really makes itself felt. One to as they say watch.
