Gig Description

Lord Numb- Iggy, Bowie,Bauhaus and Wire get given a hard rock guitar kicking tempered with some cutting electronica and rumblesome dubby drum and bass workouts. Rock And Roll is not only alive but thriving in the hands of discerning artists coz Numb is The Nuts Hercules II- All star all noisenik heroes of London Grunge and Lurch and general post punk mayhem Herc 2 (named after the Steptoe and Son horse natch)  return to lay down slabs of multi layered noise on a Sabs and Sunn O meets Stooges via Wooden Shjips tip. It’s a beautiful psychedelic slab of sound that’s gonna whack you round the head, beatifically. LegPuppy– Storming punked up electro with attitude and decent hook laden tunes “Beautifully formed one chord driven satirical punk”(BBC Introducing) “Leg Puppy are the rising noise on the UK scene, and you better be ready to listen, because they have something to say.” (Brash Magazine) “Power, energy and sonic diversity” (Louder Than War).  Petty Cassettes –  mode-ish,  modish indie band from Scotland. Look good, play with conviction and passion. Tapping into their forebears- Orange Juice, Josef K for sure, early Teenage Fanclub too…nicely raw and raucous but melodic indie with a 1960s tinge. This lot look like they NEED to do it, and  good to hear the Scots accent thoroughly in tact too. Love it when they punk out on the choruses.  Great.
