DW Cover Story

The only regular Doctor Who pub quiz of it's kind was originally set up in Cardiff way back in 2010 by life-long fans of the Time Lord Ioan Morris and Michael Williams. It was held every first Monday of the month and ran for 3 years. The Quiz of Rassilon has now found it's new home in the Sebright Arms in East London, (near Shoreditch where the very first episode of Doctor Who was set!)

The quiz has seen some memorable moments over the years, with Doctor Who/Sarah Jane Adventures writer Gareth Roberts writing a special round, executive-producer Caro Skinner attending, former Show Runner Russell T Davies contributing one question, writer Neil Gaiman confirming a contested answer over Twitter, a William Hartnell round and a TARDIS picture round written by Clayton Hickman, Christel Dee writing and hosting a round on Ace, and the writer of the Doctor Who Encyclopaedia, Gary Russell, contributing questions every month.

Following on from the Quiz of Rassilon, we were asked to write and host Quizzes for the BBC's Official Doctor Who Celebration in 2013 and Doctor Who Festival in 2015 at the London Excel. Over the course of the weekend we hosted about 30 Quizzes to hundreds of fans that took the test…!
