Mi7 is an Independent Record Label based in London whose artists include Trampolene, Naked Elephant, James Baxter, The Dead Freights and Feverist…James Baxter-At 21 James was travelling across the United States, spending time in studios from Albuquerque to Los Angeles, taking influence from the deserts and wilderness of the Mid West and West Coast. Returning to the U.K, James brought back big influences from across the Atlantic, and blended them with his British-born idols. With nods to the likes of James Taylor, Ryan Adams, Paul McCartney, Elliott Smith, Nick Drake and Paul Simon, this Southampton songwriter is set to showcase the technicolour melody and incessant lyricism of his album in waiting.The Dead Freights-Formed in 2015, The Dead Freights are an indie rock’n’roll band from Southampton, UK. Consisting of frontmen Charlie James and Robert Franklin, bassist Robby Spencer and drummer Louis Duarte.  Dual harmonies, with a redolence of a Lennon/McCartney partnering, strut over crunchy, melodic guitars twinned with a powerfully tight rhythm section. The Dead Freights prowl any stage with a classic, contagious rock’n’roll attitude and a strong arsenal of suggestive, driving anthems.  After playing in and around the UK for three years, the band signed to indie label Mi7 Records in mid-2018 and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in late-2018 and released their debut single “Reasons & Walls. They were named “big in 2019”by This Feeling.
