Two new Edinburgh shows from JAMES MCNICHOLAS (Horrible Histories) and GLENN MOORE (Mock The Week), for just £5.
***JAMES MCNICHOLAS: THE BOXER***
James’ grandad, Terry Downes, became world middleweight champion in 1961. By contrast, James’ school PE teacher once told him he was so unfit he’d be dead by the time he was 23. This is a story about boxing told by someone who’s never boxed. His glasses would come off, for a start.
Solo debut from one third of critically-acclaimed sketch act BEASTS (**** (Times), **** (Telegraph), **** (Metro)).
***GLENN MOORE: LOVE DON’T LIVE HERE GLENNY MOORE***
‘Glenn Moore’ (List) follows up last year’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination with a new hour of ‘brilliantly original’ (Chortle.co.uk), ‘blissfully silly’ (Guardian) jokes. He used to have a very different job to this, and now he’s finally brave enough to spill the beans about it.
**** (Guardian, Chortle.co.uk, Evening Standard, List). As seen on Mock The Week, Stand Up Central, The Stand Up Sketch Show and as heard on Absolute Radio.
