Gig Description

The Soapgirls-infectiously hooky punk pop via grunge, Armed with unforgettable melodies and catchy choruses, The SoapGirls energy, rawness and authenticity live, has earned a formidable reputation. Performing internationally and continuously since 2015, these fearless French born sisters Millie and Mie, have slayed critics and earned a global dedicated group of followers known as the ‘The SoapSuds’, some of who follow the band across the UK and Europe. Queen Of Uncool- Our fave rave grunge power trio with psych bliss out vocal empowerment from Dee upfront. Some great songs in here people, check em out. Talent. Leisure Tank– Strident gal plays guitar and sings, bookish looking chap plays drums….lofi, scratchy, syncopated stuff with tunefulness in the vocal lines via Beefheartian tendencies in the music…vocally more on a B52s thru Exene fromX in the vocal stylings…or Sheryl Crow even…the music is quite outre though…damn interesting… They look good too.Fortune Cookie- Spiky punk/grunge played with venom and fire  A bit rough round the edges but bags of enthusiasm. A certain rough-hewn charm is ever present. Neat. Twister –  Tech tinged progressive hard rock with melodic pop sensibilities and intelligent playing and arrangements. Terrorvision meets Bon Jovi with a dash of Muse maybe. Based in the Northeast …and they have some lofty fans.. “I Love all of your original material and that Floyd cover was outstanding” – Francis Rossi (Status Quo)
