The Sign + Slip Digby + iALPHA + Lake Acacia + Dali

The Sign –  American/Australian act who regularly tour Japan! Male/female duo playing acoustic folk psych pop with a nice resonant feel, throw in a few covers – excellent harmonies in the style of The Mamas and Papas…..Slip Digby – Pacey blues infused Grunge rock with soulful vocals on a rockin’ Fu Manchu slomo sludg n roll tip with melody aplenty. Great work. iALPHA – Post rock ethereal shoegaze with elements of trip-hop, think Holy F, Caribou etc… Lake Acacia – Caustic but heartfelt and melodic alt rock with pretty harmonies topping  a pound-along rhythm section and a nice overdriven crunch to the guitars, possible influences being Dali- Alice In Chains via Therapy? Hooky Punked up Grunge infused alt rock with a bit of a Brian Moloko aspect to the vox, without really sounding like Placebo.
