" Arran George seems able to shut his bedroom door and conjure entirely new worlds, working alone with the most basic of set ups, his pop contortions are sparse but bewitching, continually surprising and completely engaging."

Sydney's Alt-R'n'B cosmonauts, Gold Member, is the lovechild of 2 producers and a singer-songwriter. The 3 piece swings somewhere between the palms and the party, shooting sultry and soulful, sample soaked songs into the solar system. Self-produced and recorded, their debut EP (Get To Know You) features some of their live favourites “Inner West”, an ode to Sydney, and “Trippin”, which accompanies sweet vocals from fellow Sureshaker artist Laura Hyde.

Gold Member have made their presence known by supporting Lime Cordiale, Boo Seeka, Bootleg Rascal, Kim Churchill, Caravana Sun in their home coun and are currently on tour in Europe with Ocean Alley.

Their most recent single, “Worth It” is a song inspired by that expression: “Love what you do and never work a day in your life”. It’s a reminder to not wasting time doing the things that you’ll regret. “Just cuz it’s working, it doesn’t mean that it is worth it”. Since its release, ‘Worth It’ has received Spotify Editorial playlisting on New Music Friday and Indie Arrivals.

Live, Goldie are high energy. A blend of beat driven, freaky, synth wig outs and soulful interplanetary vocals. They bounce tracks through a musical outer-verse that includes Khalid, Dominic Fike and Cautious Clay.
