Lagerstein are a folking, drinking, shouting and pirating rock/metal outfit hailing from the distant shores of Brisbane, Australia. Their debut album "Drink 'Til We Die" is loaded with 12 fun filled tracks of loud guitars, soaring keytars, earworm melodies and adventurous tales that will have you singing drunken sea shanties for drinks and drinks. Serpentyne was created in 2010 inspired by a combination of Celtic, Folk, and Symphonic metal styles.

Serpentyne has been playing extensively around the UK and the rest of Europe during the last 8 years.

October 2018- The band supported Tarja and Stratovarious on their major tour “A Nordic Symphony 18”, with 22 dates last October, throughout Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Poland.

February 2019- Earlier this year, the band supported Imperial Age (RU) during their UK tour, with 4 dates in February in London, Derby, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

March 2019-The band supported Folk/metal band from Latvia Syforger in Nottingham at The Old Salutation Inn on the 21st.

May 2019- The band went back to support Tarja Turunnen, this time during her Ukraine and Belarus tour.

July 2019- The band supports Legendary band Soulfly as part of their European tour, in Parma, Italy, Zurich, Switzerland, Oslo, Denmark, Warsaw, Poland and Graz, Austria.

Sept 2019- The band is very pleased to support Lagerstein at the Camden Underworld, we're looking forward to it!

Fronted by classically trained soprano singer Maggiebeth Sand, and backed by Vaughan Grandin on bagpipes, Lee Willmer on guitar, Nigel Middleton on bass, and John Haithwaite on drums, Serpentyne combine a unique mix of symphonic and folk metal styles, with themed songs about historical figures and legends, such as Boudicca, The Valkyries, Viking Blood, Helen Of Troy, Jeanne d’ Arc, and The Dark Queen, amongst many others.
