Line up:

Michael Sebastian:

Michael Sebastian improvises dance music in real time. His music has the structure of modern electronic; the freedom of jazz, and the depth of world music. Using guitar, vocals, beatbox, and a synth, he layers ideas on the fly, creating a rich, vibrant sound. His affinity for groove and feel allows for conflicting styles to fluidly co-exist.

As a South African in London, his influence is as diverse as his surroundings. His work has been in high demand since: from soundtracking a private view at the Victoria & Albert Museum, to lecturing and performing at Central St. Martins in Applied Imagination, to playing for dance with the London School of Contemporary Dance.

Drawing from tactics learnt on stages, in dance studios, and on the street, he’s honed his live set for a modern audience, playing at festivals, warehouse parties and countless venues and events around London, including Sofar Sounds, the Dalston Woodburner and the BBC Introducing Live festival.

Stacey Cohen (Host):

Stacey's voice is rich, authentic & unforgettable. Her lyrics poetic & thought-provoking. Expect stripped down acoustic versions of heart-felt songs, with wide dynamic range, & hooky melodies, in an exciting, magical, intimate setting.
