Gig Description

VERY special one for you here! LUMER sign with Permanent Creeps Records to release the blistering 'White Tsar' (Sep 18). And in celebration, we're bringing the guys down to The Old Blue Last on Sep 20, once again showing London how it's really done. Get ready for one of the UK's most stunning, abrasive live shows.

Plus ridiculous support thanks to Cruelty, Autosuggestion.and the mysterious Folly Group. DO NOT miss this..

One of our all time faves. Big things about to happen for these guys.

DIY Today’s Neu Pick, is aggressive in the extreme, with periods of forced restraint in the verses giving way to unhinged, brutal choruses. It’s a track that leaves nothing to chance

Fred Perry Subculture 'LUMER have a dystopian musical aesthetic pitched perfectly somewhere between Bauhaus and Nirvana'

So Young Magazine 'The latest offering from Hull’s Lumer arrives in two parts; a spectral, harrowing anarcho-noise manifesto for an alternative future entitled BURN/BLEED. Boasting a vocal that seemingly represents some swamp-dwelling juggernaut summoned from the fog to tackle “power, corruption and lies”, its urgency is only amplified further by the fact that it arrives the day after polling day.

So Young Magazine "Bristol’s own Cruelty are the latest in an emerging lineage of bands playing furious post punk with a social conscience. New single ‘Disgraced’ is a ferocious foray into the uncomfortable, as it explores the relationship between mental health and romantic love – and deciding the sound the pairing creates is one of frantic drumbeat, Wytches-esque screeching guitars, and a synthesiser vying for dominance throughout."

One of Hull's most exciting new acts, quietly but quickly building a solid name for themselves on the lice scene. No music out, so if you wanna hear it, you gotta see it..

Having already played with the likes of Italia 90 and Curfew for Bad Vibrations, the mysterious Folly Group are worth your attention. Get down early for these guys.
