Gig Description

Oliver Shaw Experience – former Garage Flowers bass ace now in critically acclaimed solo mode, echoes Kurt Cobain on the unplugged album but with a trad Brit folk slant. All manner of great stuff coalesces in Oliver’s fertile musical back yard, from psych to blues to twisted soul and experimentally hinged alt rock.  If you were expecting to see The Garage Flowers tonite sorry they’ve exploded. The Tramadolls – the tautest, wiriest, most angular and aaaaargh-tastic punky fun you could hope for. Featuring The Dublin Castle’s very own Luke Lively. Singer songwriter Dave Renegade is an alumnus of several schools of rock and hones punk, rock and country and tells it how it is in his six string stories.  Monty Holy Faction also feature this evening. From a band who posit post punk material that captures the essence of Magazine, the groove of Killing Joke and a hint of Wire, alongside a magic of their own. Temple Of Poseidon – It might be a Herculean task to get two drummers on stage tonight for this one brilliantly bonkers band so that’s why these remarkable noise slab scientists are on first. So.. A dual percussive debut for hypnorock sensations you may know already…
