JOUIS
Jouis (jhew-eee) return with their second album ‘Mind Bahn’, their first album for None More Records following up 2015’s self-released ‘Dojo’.
‘Mind Bahn’ is 9 tracks of groove laden psychedelic folk rock. Drawing on influences as far and wide as the British jazz-tinged folk scene of Nick Drake and John Martyn, the contemporary Canterbury Scene of groups like Syd Arthur with a sprinkling of the 70’s scene of groups like Hatfield & The North and Caravan. Mixed in with the folk and progressive influences, comes hints of BADBADNOTGOOD, Khruangbin and Polar Bear in the tight rhythms, the space of Debussy’s piano pieces and the experimental electronica of Stereolab and early Broadcast.

ALI HORN
Ali Horn is back. Liverpool’s prodigal son returns with his kaleidoscopic new single ‘Modern Voodoo’. Released via Rooftop Records, the track is already gaining support from both his local BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music.

FEZ

"Formed in January 2019, London-based FEZ are a blend of psychedelia and progressive rock that doesn't simply embrace nostalgia for a bygone era of music but reinterprets their essence in a post-rock world. With an equal emphasis on songwriting, sonics and improvisation, every member is at the forefront of the band's music.

After spending the first half of 2019 extensively recording material while locked away in an isolated cabin in the Lake District, followed by Bristol and Devon, FEZ are preparing for their debut release later this year."
