Philip Rambow – Come to the Dublin Castle nice and early this Sunday afternoon for a matinee into evening show from 4pm to promote Philip’s new single: “American Buffalo”. Philip has had a remarkable career as a singer and songwriter; He fronted pub rock legends The Winkies, recorded with Brian Eno and Hans Zimmer and had Mick Ronson in his band. He has written hits for many artists including Nick Gilder and Ellen Foley and famously wrote “There’s a Guy Works Down the Chip Shop Swears he’s Elvis” with Kirsty MacColl. The band line up for the Dublin Castle show will be: Head guitarslinger Paul Cuddeford (Steve Harley, Bob Geldoff), Bob Loveday on Violin (Geraint Watkins, Penguin Cafe Orchestra), Mick Hutton on Bass (Bill Bruford, Jack Bruce) and Steven Gilchrist on drums (Graham Coxon, Rockingbirds) They will be playing songs from Philip’s forthcoming album: “Canadiana” on Fretsore Records.
