In your face!
Classic heavy metal madness with moments of extreme brutality!

Meet Italy's The Wild Child

This year they featured on the second stage of the biggest underground heavy metal festival in Italy - The Acciaio Italiano Festival in Mantova. The bands for this stage are what the organisers consider to be the best unsigned metal bands in the country.

Now they're heading to the New Cross Inn on October 27th for what will be their first UK headline show, having relocated to London just a few months ago.

Formed in 2004 as a cover band playing songs from Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and Judas priest, within a year they had started to write their own songs in the classic heavy metal style while featuring modern sounds and never forgetting the importance of melody. This resulted in the 2007 self-produced debut album, In The Next Life. Five years later another album followed called The Wild Child. This album was positively reviewed by popular metal magazines including Rockhard and Metalmanic. These reviews mean that The Wild Child is regarded as a standard- bearer of the historic underground sound of heavy metal. The 2017 third album Journey Into Hell was the first concept album from the band. Through ten songs it tells the story of an uncompromising and fast living girl who is discovering life on her own terms.

The Wild Child is now preparing to return to the studio to record their fourth and most devastating album yet.

Through this show, you will witness the best the band has to offer in a blistering live experience.

Fred Pala is a professional musician and composer from Brazil who studied at the great Tom Jobim institute in Sao Paulo city.

Taking his music and great vibes around the world he has travelled more than 200,000 kilometres, on the way participating in huge festivals and treading the same stages as performers such as Ian Anderson and Steppenwolf. A scintillating and hugely charismatic performer, his music is steeped in the traditions of 70s classic rock and blues. Having toured seven European countries in recent times, he is currently playing in and around London where he has very quickly established himself on the live scene as the real deal.
