One Tonne Ming

To the ruler, the people are heaven; to the people, food is heaven

Desert Dusk are an electronic garage rock band - riffs & sounds that swing between QOTSA and Gorillaz, and Radiohead and Liars.

Imagine if Grinderman and Liars were thwacked in the bowels with a massive slab of yorkie, sending them thundering into the Large Hadron Collider, being operated by Terry Gilliam, thus being spliced together and later discovering a sudden combined love of scotch eggs, just like you'd get at any good house party, then deciding to put this to use by creating a series of electronic riffs and indie rock sea shanties covering varying topics from autonomous weapons systems to fabled misadventures over mountains, and subsequently celebrated by watching Withnail & I whilst dressed as Laurence of Arabia, before realising how completely ridiculous all of this was and deciding to listen to Jagz Kooner, you'd get Desert Dusk.
