Dumb As You Are –  bring their powerfully authentic Nirvana Homage to The Dublin Castle for their first London headline show. These three decent, clean-cut young men play ‘heavier than heaven’ versions of the influential grungers’ back catalogue, selecting songs from every studio album as well as the occasional classic bootleg. Rather than relying on the corny outfits and gimmicky showmanship of many ‘tribute’ acts, the trio place the focus back where it should be: Nirvana’s amazing songs, played with meticulous care and ferocious energy: true to the immersive sound which created moshpits in Seattle in ’89 and Reading ’92. ‘Dumb As You Are’ are fans, first and foremost.
