PlayDead – Ferocious power psych with some popular indie rock nuances tempered by tremendous loud and proud heaviosity…this young trio really do create a marvelous, malevolent noise that belies their tender years. Smasheroo. One-Eyed Disco – hook tastic edgy indie-punk, great stuff it is too that positively bristles with energy . There’s a bit of an Arctic Monkeys vibe without really sounding like em. Fab. Heavy Salad – making sunny side up summery psych/indie pop that puts you in mind of Boo Radleys, Teardrop Explodes and The Webb Bros– pretty classy this. Nice bit of edge to it too. Crushed By Pimps – “A fusion of post-Punk, prog rock and electronic music blended together to make upbeat repetitive melodies with dark underlying messages.” Have a rather tasty tune called ‘Thurston Less’! Arf… which does actually sound a little bit like a fired-up Sonic Youth …great stuff. DJ s We Got Killers – Keeping the rocknroll rumblin’ til 2am, with a side order of soul, reggae and exquisite, exotic bangers aplenty.
