Session 25 - MEMES / Wreck / Folly Group

Yes the rumours are true and as we reach a quarter of a
Century we are joining forces with not only 3 killer bands but the ultra cool record label Six Tonnes Du Chair Records as we celebrate their vinyl single launch with our headline band.

Sometime over the summer our good pal American Robb introduced us to Memes and within moments we were hooked, playing them on our show, which led to Laurent from Six Tonnes Du chair Records asking the band how they fancied appearing on one of his strictly limited vinyl releases.
Memes, of course said yes, and here we are having them rightfully headline session 25.
Memes are a duo who produce wicked punk band which has not gone unnoticed. Having received plenty of plays on Radio 6 and beyond this is your chance to come down and catch them while you can.

WRECK
These guys play fast ferocious Shambolic garage punk and we freakin love it, particularly as It’s the sort of stuff that would get Daily Mail readers into a frenzy, worrying about the states of today's youth. These guys are totally doing their own thing but it reminds us a lot of early Dunes Rats and the Black Lips so you know you are going to be in good company.

Tim had the pleasure of playing on the same bill
as these guys a few months ago and was immediately a fan so it's great to have them open affairs for us. Angular post punk at its finest. These guys are definitely one to watch.
