INTRODUCING ‘DELUXE EDITION’

Powered by rich melodies, seductive mosaics of samples and synthesisers, and compelling bass lines, original London psych-pop band CARAMEL takes you on a journey through time, space and esoteric landscapes of the lesser known.

It was after the break-up of his former group Clout! that songwriter William Cunningham yearned to channel his now-refined talents into a new sonic excursion with his partner Sasha Moxon, with whom he shares creative interests. Their passion for creating animated music videos together inspired them to collaborate as CARAMEL’s super-imaginative visual artists.

Released by DuoPoly Records on Friday 22nd November 2019 and recorded partly in London’s Wilton Way Studio and at Cunningham’s home, where he also produced and mixed himself, DELUXE EDITION is CARAMEL’s first full length album. Its release will coincide with a specially curated launch event that evening at Sebright Arms.

Expect to witness a cornucopia of projected visual delights, a profusion of musical synthesis and epic DJ sets from Kenichi Iwasa (Krautrock Karaoke), Bradley Steptoe (Clout!, UK Astro) and Eno Inwang (Universal Library).

We will also be joined by the wonderfully funky Pink Shabab as main support!

For lovers of the mysterious, evocative and unpredictable, this evening is not to be missed!
