All manner of great stuff coalesces in Oliver’s fertile musical back yard, from psych to blues to twisted soul and experimentally (un-)hinged alt rock. Sister Mercedes- began as the alter ego of Darren Van Asten from nifty noughties mover shakers Junkbox, but fashioned into a fully fledged freakout fellowship with ex members of The Intolerable Kidd & Friends and The Lonesome Cowboys from Hell. Pithy, punky, tales des nos jours. Ah, oui.  Close To The Sun – psych and prog and wigout rocknroll combine in some serious soundscapes.
