JAMES ALEXANDER BRIGHT

Equal parts hazy sunshine psychedelia, lo-fi electronic soul, melodic pop nous, a husky croon and forwards-looking-backwards studio techniques; James Alexander Bright and band visit south London for a eve of winter/end of year live party. With James' debut album planned for release by !K7 in 2020, expect to hear some new songs for the first time.

"The songs-proper that decorate the laptop-driven fantasias of James Alexander Bright stick, and they help open up music that, left to its own devices, is usually just as inviting. So does Bright’s husky croon—like a weathered Junior Boys: slightly goofy, slightly aggrieved” Bandcamp

“Pitting folk-hued samples against glitchy electronics…an off piste sensibility that borders on psychedelia” Clash Music

"Funk, psychedelia and soul music, perfectly blended together" Stereofox

flo/so

flo/so is the solo project from French drummer & music producer Florian Sauvaire. Starting his musical career in the UK as a session drummer (artists include Ghostpoet, Roxanne Tatei, Will Joseph Cook, Pillars) Florian quickly embraced production & songwriting with his critically acclaimed band Deafkid. The duo received plays on BBC Radio 1 & 6 music along with press from NME, Clash, DIY, and numerous blogs from around the globe. His new project is an experimental blend of electronica & pop, mixing hypnotic beats with ethereal and modulated vocals.
