Gig Description

back to the UK!

Caleb Hawley is a Harlem based, Minneapolis-raised singer, songwriter, and producer who has been shoveling Gobstoppers into ears for the past decade. Combining catchy melodies with dark and satirical lyrics, one has to be careful not to slip while dancing in a puddle of their own tears. Popdust proclaims “Caleb Hawley is the pop star pop music has done nothing to deserve, but desperately needs. The production of every song is attention grabbing, bringing the listener on a rollercoaster of 80's vibes and surprising emotional layers.”

He released his fifth full-length album this spring, entitled “Sad People”. Most of it was written & produced in his 5x10 storage-unit-turned-studio, where he works alongside a black market DVD burning entrepreneur named Fred.

Phoebe Katis:
Having penned and performed the theme song to BAFTA + BIFA winning film ‘Kajaki. The True Story’ (2014), sung for BBC 4 Woman’s Hour, and collaborated with Cory Wong (of Vulfpeck), Phoebe is one of the UK’s most sought after vocalists and songwriters. With sold out London venues such as Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho) and Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room, and multiple performances on BBC Radio Kent, Phoebe is a powerhouse performer. She sang for Cory Wong’s EU tour in October 2018 and is fresh from supporting him on his recent sold out Ireland/UK tour Feb-March 2019. Her music has gone from strength to strength, culminating in her debut studio album, produced by Wong, released April 11th 2019. The pair combine Phoebe’s love of doo-wop harmony, roots energy, and pop funk grooves. Phoebe has tours and shows around the country and the world in 2019 (Adelaide, California, Nashville, West Coast USA, Europe).
