The Victoria

451 Queensbridge Road E8 3AS London

Gig Description

The Dark Owl lands in London on 12.12.19

On this cold dark night in December the Dark Owl Midnight Radio Club invite you to join us for an evening in the warm glow of the Victoria in the depths of Dalston

Joining us will be three luscious riff-filled bands from hell that will fuel us while the usual flaming orb in the sky evades our land

Without further ado, here are our performers this evening:

Sit Down
Summoning fiery garage rock with infectious energy and acid-tongued wit, Sit Down forge their own brand of art rock that borders on doom, hip hop, and everything in between. Since their debut in early 2017, drumming frontwoman Katie Oldham and guitarist Greg Burns have refined a signature electrifying sound, with elaborate stage shows and homemade outfits becoming something audiences have grown to eagerly anticipate. 2018 saw the duo go from strength to strength, self- releasing their first EP, supporting the likes of Drenge and performing at Reading and Leeds Festivals for BBC Introducing.

Floral Schoppe
Floral Schoppe is a 5-piece psychedelic rock band based in London.
Their focus is to create sonically and visually stimulating live experiences.
They do this by writing music that juxtaposes heavy punk and rock influences with more mellow and delicate genres such as jazz and latin, often several times within a song. Additionally, they have put a great focus on our costumes during live performances, creating characterised alter egos for performance accompanied with distinct, colourful clothing and body paints.
They’ll put on a show that you will remember.
Inspiring you with weirdness, breaking the barrier between them and audience.

Noise Noir
London’s Noise Noir are a riff-heavy, fuzz filled, garage rock four piece with dramatic hints of blues and soul.

'Walls of fuzz fury and an intimidatingly strong vocal' - Louder Than War

'Defiant vocals and devious, fuzzy guitar riffs combine with slick style' - Get In Her Ears
