The Blank Tapes is the moniker of Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist Matt Adams, who has produced over a dozen albums of 1960’s inspired folk-rock-surf-psych-soul-pop on Volcom, Burger Records, Antenna Farm and others. The Blank Tapes have toured throughout America, Canada, Brazil, UK, Europe and Japan.
New album “Look into the Light” is out on Oct. 26 2019 on Nomad Eel Records.
This Bristolian four-piece bring a vivid interplay of surf and psych rock to the stage, with blistering fuzzy guitars giving way to glistening sea-side chords. With a penchant for sun worship, the 70’s, and a good old western, their songs exude summer joviality merged with scrappy riffs.
...have recently released their debut EP, ‘Exit I’. A collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Rachel Still and drummer Kayleigh Cheer, the pair’s expansive sound is created from their living room in Brixton.
