Diaphragm Failure- it’s that time of year once more when Steve Folk and Reza Sheikh pull together a bunch of unlikely but irresistible noisenik, arthouse, bohemian ne’erdowells for some psychedelically unhinged freeform expressive madness. It’s the nutty nutted… a trip to Xmas/New Year no man’s land warmth and wonder. Mine’s a mushroom volauvent. For fans of Can, Beefheart, The Fall, Hawkwind, Public Image Ltd.…joined this time by Commie Faggots–  who we are reliably informed are neither commies or faggots but it’s a statement to take note of, in much the way the Gang of 4 were not the actual GO4 starring Mao Tse Tung’s wife.
