Epic Alt Rock outft DELANY was originally conceived as a solo project by ex Rubicon (spinoff of Fields of the Nephilim) frontman – Andy Delany back in 2015. Delany made two albums with Rubicon:
  • ➢  What starts, ends – 1992

  • ➢  Room 101 – 1995

Both albums were released on the old Beggars Banquet label; home to the likes of The Cult and Bauhaus. The band split in 1995 and Delany tried a number of different musical setups without really fnding satisfaction.

First to be recruited to the new project was producer/writer/engineer – Andy J Davies who ran the studio where Rubicon did their pre-production for albums and tours in the 90’s. A year was spent developing ideas in the studio before recruiting drummer Pat Walters ex Guns ‘n’ Wankers, The Wild Hearts, Soho Roses. The result was the release of DELANY’s frst album entitled iission Creep in November 201.. The album was well received by fans and writers and a launch party was held at The Water Rats where the album was played live for the frst time.

Since then DELANY have played extensively in the south east and are now working on their second album which is due for release in spring 2020. The project has grown into a permanent six piece outft featuring:

  • ➢  Nick Plews – Drums

  • ➢  Iain Hamilton – Bass

  • ➢  Paul Kimmett – Keyboards

  • ➢  James Quinn – Guitar

  • ➢  Andy J Davies – Guitar

  • ➢  Andy Delany – Vocals

Holly Penfield

San Franciscan singer/songwriter Holly Penfield releases her single ‘La Recoleta' from her new album ‘Tree Woman’ on October the thirty-first. It has been a long time coming! The new album is her first self penned release since her debut album ‘Full Grown Child‘ (1982) and ‘Parts Of My Privacy’ (1990). The first was produced by renowned record producers Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn (of Blondie, Suzi Quatro, and The Knack fame). The second by Ian Ritchie (Roger Waters, Laurie Anderson, Pete Wylie and Hugh Cornwell ).

The gap between then and now has been filled by Holly touring the world, playing over 3000 concerts. She has supported the likes of Dr John, Mike Bloomfield, John Mellencamp, Taj Mahal, John Lee Hooker and John Mayall. She has performed for Prince Charles and Princess Diana as well as appearing onstage at the infamous 1996 Brit Awards with Michael Jackson.

Holly has received outstanding recognition for her outrageous cabaret career (or as she calls it, performing as her evil twin) which included a three year residency at London's Savoy hotel. "Holly Penfield knows exactly what she is doing and she is 'an original'. If I had to make comparisons, I'd say she is like David Bowie meets Liza Minnelli" quipped Simon Cowell of Holly’s cabaret persona.

‘Tree Woman’ marks a return to Holly's rock and roll roots.

The Psalms Project, led by Steven & Clem Faux, provides thrilling journey through their interpretations of ancient poetry, translated and comprising albums ranging from film-score to folk music. Their latest album, ‘You Are’ – a folk fusion – blends furious fiddle reels with finessed guitar combos and exquisite vocals.

Collaborating with musicians from the West End to Paris, their endorsements are wide-ranging as they continue to entertain crowds in Balham, Westminster, Bristol, Bath, and more.
