FELL

"Beautiful, sheeny, witty, baroque pop…very very special indeed."
- Lauren Laverne, BBC6 Music

Fell is the musical alias of Nicolas Burrows - a London-based artist, illustrator, and creator of sun-kissed psychedelic pop dreaminess, with band members Jon Rulton (Bear Driver, Dream Giant), Dav Shiel (Beth Jeans-Houghton & The Hooves of Destiny) and Matt Giraudeau (Dogtanion).

Latest release ‘For The Pickling’ — out on Lost Map records — features five lilting, woozy micro-opuses that transport the listener to a half-forgotten childhood summer and back again. Fell has shared a stage with the likes of Vetiver, Spencer Krug, The Cairo Gang, Diane Cluck, The Vaccines and Wild Nothing among others.

BENEDICT BENJAMIN

Benedict Benjamin is Ben Rubinstein. His debut album ‘Night Songs’ (2016) was a collection of timeless compositions recorded in a series of churches, bedrooms and kitchens across London and Kent with producer Dan Blackett (Landshapes, Bella Union).

Ben is first and foremost a songwriter versed in the classical traditions of the form, capable of crafting both operatic crescendo and lullabylike stillness shot through with the heartbreaking swoon of Roy Orbison, the soothing harmonies of the Everly Brothers and the honesty of Jeff Tweedy. His songs undercut the dreamlike beauty of early 60s pop music with lyrics both frank and poetic, creating a powerful Lynchian duality that makes the heart swell and the head spin.
