Starting 2020 as we mean to go on, this February we return to our spiritual home Folklore for our first party of the year, welcoming our new charity partners Headway East London to the mix. Based in East London, Headway do amazing work supporting the victims and families of victims who have suffered life changing brain injuries; doing this through creative writing, music, art, performance and so much more.
Alongside our SOBA residents we’re also joined by Balamii and Netil Radio regulars, Moody Food aka Ariane V & Cian Jennings. Hosting their monthly show on Netil Radio, these two are bonafide diggers and fair to say they’ve been making a name for themselves over the past few years; playing across multiple venues in London and running regular radio slots, Ariane V also curates Rhythm Sister’s pioneering 50:50 mix series. With their far reaching influences from around the globe, expect them to spin a mix of disco, afrobeat, house, techno and more.
