Twink- Not many people truly match the expectations of the proviso ‘legend’ but where Twink is concerned legendary status is assured and then some. From Tomorrow to The Pink Fairies via Syd Barrett’s Stars and Hawkwind, Twink is an original counter culturalist psychedlicist mover shaker and he don’t sit still brothers and sisters. Apart from still hitting those amazing wigout drums Twink has also recently produced excellent new solo material showcasing his songwriterly quality and Barrett/Ayers shaped Anglo psych pop nous. He’s a fabulous act all right, it’s so good to welcome Twink back again to The Dublin Castle tonite. And not just to perform his remarkable music. Tonight is also “Tales Of Twink” as Mohammed Abdullah John Alder engages us with amazing stories from his nigh on 60 years in music.  With a counter cultural psych DJ topping and tailing the event and other surprises, this will be a magical evening…but please make sure you arrive early to catch wonderfully psychedelicized support care of Sterling Roswell. Yesterday and tomorrow groovily blended expertly by this very talented multi instrumentalist, yer man Rosco once of Spacemen 3 is a shaker and a maker of all things psych and inter spatial thru sonic grooviness… he’s made a myriad of kool music, even taking time out to record a single with the late great Sky Saxon…what’s not to love?!
