Lilo- impassioned uber pop put together perfectly featuring the talents of this very talented young woman, the nominative Lilo, AKA Elizabeth Daly. Superb. Affet Robot – pure early 80s electropop vibes with big dollops of Depeche Mode and OMD in the sound…the finely honed pop tunesmithery of both acts too, although the vocal is more akin to the geezer outta A Flock Of Seagulls, but we’re definitely with 1980s futurist vibes here. Sex Bandit – challenging and cheeky electronica with some sassy nay saucy touches that might please fans of Peaches. Out there and alluring…and don’t google ‘Sex Bandit’, it is a Sunday… Antics –Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Happy Mondays, The Fall. Young scally rockers with a shed load of ideas to open up this mad for it mixed mezze of a Sunday Showcase.
